Rhenus C
The modern classic
The Rhenus convinces with its multifaceted tone and distinctive core. Due to its easy response and good tone separation it creates a very controlled feeling. This comes – as a by-product – with an easy upper register. Galileo-typical are an excellent intonation and balanced centering in all registers. All this makes it a true allround instrument that can be used in any setting, even beyond solo and orchestral work.

The Rhenus Series
With the Rhenus, we have broken new ground in search of a universally applicable, yet characteristic timbre. The usual great intonation and responsiveness of a Galileo was combined with the wonderfully coloured and under-the-skin sound of well-known vintage models. Thus, the traditional appearance was enriched with fresh influences. New bell shapes were oriented after vintage models. This was combined with a reversed leadpipe architecture for good airflow. Turned outer slide legs give a traditional mass distribution, but without the inherent stresses of soldered flanges. The Rhenus series is the modern classic at Galileo.
