The Rhenus series combines versatility, character, and precision in a single trumpet model. It blends traditional design principles with fresh ideas and meets the demands of professional musicians for intonation, response, and a colorful, overtone-rich sound.
While rooted in classic trumpet shapes, the design has been further developed for optimal playability and tonal balance. New bell shapes, a reversed leadpipe, strategically distributed mass, and turned outer slides ensure smooth airflow, balance, and comfortable handling.
The Rhenus series is a carefully considered concept for musicians seeking a trumpet that is both classically inspired and modern – perfect for ensemble playing as well as large orchestral repertoire.
With the Rhenus, we have broken new ground in search of a universally applicable, yet characteristic timbre. The usual good intonation and responsiveness of a Galileo was combined with the wonderfully coloured and under-the-skin sound of well-known vintage models. Thus, the traditional appearance was enriched with fresh influences. New bell shapes were oriented to vintage models. This was combined with a reversed leadpipe architecture for a well-supporting airflow. Turned outer slides build the basis of a traditional mass distribution, however, without the inherent stresses of soldered flanges. The Rhenus series is the modern classic at Galileo.
The Giolo Series
Timeless elegance
The Giolo series stands out with its mature, stylish presence – both sonically and visually. Characteristic of the instruments in this series is the distinctive combination of a large bell with a lightweight valve block. Heavyweight elements are used selectively, never at the expense of flexibility or playability.
The result is a perfectly centered tone that offers a wide range of dynamics and tonal colors: from a warm, soft piano to a strong, brilliant forte in any register. With its smooth airflow and balanced feel, the Giolo series is appreciated by players across a wide range of musical styles – from classical to contemporary.
The Giolo series impresses with a sophisticated elegance, both visually and tonally. Both instruments share the distinct combination of a very large bell with a lightweight valve block. Heavyweight elements are used in a targeted manner without ever compromising ease and agility. As a result, the tone is particularly well centered with a warm, velvety sound in the piano range and a huge beam in the high register. The powerful air flow is loved by players of all genres.

The Piccolo Series
Radiant sound and perfect intonation
Our Piccolo trumpets are designed for extreme requirements, both in terms of sound and play. The A/B Piccolo has two sets perfected to the respective tuning and with its wide variety of materials it offers an enormous freedom of design . Our C Piccolo is completely geared towards the extremely high passages and at the same time offers a very fine sound. The rotary valve Piccolo offers the well-known fine sound that the rotary piccolo is famous for. It is a great alternative for the piston piccolo.
