3-hole F trumpet

The special version of the short trumpet for the high tunings. Due to its shorter design, it can be played up to the F tunings in the 3-hole system with an F/A hole and two ventholes.

Countless musicians appreciate its use in high baroque parts such as Bach’s 2nd Brandenburg Concerto. However, it can also be used for pieces where rapid changes of tuning are required such as Mendelssohn’s Elias, in which this is only possible with a second instrument.

  • Available tunings F, E (both 440 Hz or 415 Hz) and Es (440 Hz)
  • Instrument in brass
  • Hand hammered bell
