Galileo mouthpiece series
The mouthpiece is a decisive factor for sound, response, intonation and playing feel – and therefore far more than just the connecting piece between the musician and the instrument. For many years, we have been developing mouthpieces that meet the highest quality standards and are manufactured with the greatest possible craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology. In close cooperation with international artists, we have developed our mouthpiece series, divided into Pro and Signature series. We also offer unique and high-tech mouthpiece-related services.
Signature series
Our signature mouthpieces were developed in close collaboration with renowned musicians and individually tailored to their sound ideas and needs. The aim of our work in each case was to design a mouthpiece that exactly matches their playing style, sound ideal and range of use – and thus also offers other trumpeters a great opportunity to benefit from this experience.

The Galileo Pro series combines our independently developed mouthpiece lines – precisely constructed, balanced in sound and tailored to different musical requirements. From the M and J series for trumpet through the F and P series for flugelhorn and piccolo to the Bach-based B series, the Pro series offers maximum variety with a perfect balance of response, sound and projection.

Customization and modification
Variants and prototyping
We develop data-based variants and prototypes of existing mouthpieces or modular parts. Your model is first precisely measured and analyzed in order to understand the effect of the backbore, cup and rim on the sound and playing characteristics. Based on this, we create minimally modified variants that are precisely tailored to your needs. This results in a precise, data-based selection of individual mouthpieces or components that you can systematically test and find your personal signature mouthpiece.
Custom tuning
We adapt your existing mouthpiece specifically to your personal requirements. To do this, we first precisely analyze the geometry and playing behavior in order to understand all parameters based on data. Based on the measurements, we suggest specific changes that meet your requirements. However, we only change functioning mouthpieces if absolutely necessary. As a rule, we recommend developing a new variant from a tried-and-tested mouthpiece so that your original remains untouched.
Measurement and analysis
Comparative analysis
With the comparative analysis, we record and evaluate several mouthpieces or mouthpiece components precisely on the basis of their geometry and measurable properties. Each model is precisely measured to document differences in backbore, cup, rim or weight. Based on this data, deviations and effects on sound and playing behavior can be clearly traced. This gives you a scientifically sound basis for comparing models and selecting the optimum model for you.
Digital mouthpiece backup
With our digital mouthpiece backup, we can back up your mouthpiece completely and reproduce it exactly at any time. The model is measured with high precision and all relevant parameters are recorded. Based on this data, we reproduce the mouthpiece with millimetre precision in the event of loss or damage, including all individual properties. This gives you a reliable, data-based copy that is mechanically and tonally identical to the original.

Historical reconstruction
We measure your historical or no longer available mouthpiece precisely and record all relevant parameters. Based on this data, we produce a precise copy that is true to the original or adapted to modern playing behavior with specific improvements. This gives you a mouthpiece that exactly reproduces the characteristics of the original.
Hybrid models
With hybrid models, we combine various elements from existing mouthpieces – such as the rim, cup or shank – to create a new, precisely matched mouthpiece. All parts are precisely measured and analyzed in advance to ensure an exact fit and reproducible sound characteristics. The result is a customized model that meets your exact requirements.
Series production
We are happy to manufacture several identical mouthpieces according to exactly the same parameters. Each mouthpiece is precisely measured and CNC-manufactured so that dimensional accuracy, sound character and response are reproducible. This gives you a reliable series in which each piece meets the same standard.
