The sauterelle (3-valve valve block) is plugged in in place of the regular tuning slide. The Sauterelle itself also has tuning slides. As standard, the sauterelle is delivered with tuning slide 1 (basic tuning 440 Hz). The 3rd valve of the Sauterelle is historically authentic ascending. We also offer the variant as descending, which is preferred by many players. On request, we can supply another valve, so that you can switch between ascending and descending.
