Tone hole screw for the tone holes of the 3-hole short form trumpet. These allow holeless playing when combined with the plastic plug for the F-hole.

The tone hole screw with hole improves the response of the D” and is screwed into the first tone hole. Here, however, the F# with the first tone hole opened is no longer playable (H” is still playable). For this reason, it is mainly used in classical literature, where F# is rarely required.
