Body 3-hole short form trumpet

We offer three historical bell shapes:

  • Baroque bell after Johann Wilhelm Haas (Nuremberg 1649-1723)
  • Baroque bell after Johann Leonhard Ehe (Nuremberg 1664-1724)
  • Romantic bell after Antoine Courtois (Paris)

The bells are available in different materials:

  • Standard: Made of brass sheet, assertive sound, does not need much energy to play
  • Historic: Made of hammered brass sheet (material thickness approx. 0.35 mm), silver-plated garland and knob; rich in color, soft response and bindings, favoring trills; rich in interpretation; can not be played very loudly, needs a little more energy for stationary sounds.
  • MDC: Made of hammered “Nuremberg sheet metal” (material thickness approx. 0.35 mm), garland and knob silver-plated; garland hand-engraved and richly decorated, brighter sound, faster, clearer response, good tonal presence even in piano, historical sound and playing characteristics.

Bell

Yard

Matching the bell, the yard can also be selected in each of the three versions. Although the same design as the bell is usually chosen here, the sound can be varied in a targeted manner via different combinations of bell/yard.

Winding

Device for changing the bell – optional

If you want to use more than one bell, the use of the exchanger is recommended. The bell is fixed with a screw. So it can be changed in a few simple steps even during a concert.

Transportation crook – optional

For the protection of the body during transport. Since no crook usually fits on the body in the gig bag/case, the yard can be easily bent by lateral pressure. The transportation crook has a stabilizing effect and thus protects the body.
