The C trumpet with the radiant orchestral sound

With Zirnbauer valve section, vienna keys in C and A, double trigger, gold plated

We were lucky enough to recruit Johannes Sondermann from the SWR Orchestra as a partner for the development of this instrument. With him we were able to create an exclusive instrument for the large orchestral repertoire. The accuracy in the reponse and the homogeneous sound throughout the registers make it perfect for orchestral parts from Viennese classical music to contemporary music.

  • Hand-hammered bell, diameter 125 mm made of a one-piece cut
  • One-piece valve slides in gold brass
  • Machine with nickel silver housing and bronze valves
  • Bore: 11.2 mm
  • Exchangeable leadpipes
  • Progressive trigger on the 3rd valve slide

I like playing this Galileo C rotary very much - it has a wonderful resonant sound with great center - excellent intonation makes it easy to play.
